A team behind Classroom of the Elite Series
Classroom of the Elite is a popular psychological suspenseJapanese anime series that is adapted from the Kadokawa-published light novels. The name of the Light Novel in Japanese is Yōkoso Jitsuryoku Shijō Shugi no Kyōshitsue which means Welcome to the Classroom of the Supreme Ability Doctrine in English. The novel debuted in Japan in 2015 and sold a total of 6 million copies across the world. Later on, the novel is adapted into an anime television series in 2017 by Studio Lerche which was also well-accepted by the fans.
The series is written by Shōgo Kinugasa and illustrated by Shunsaku Tomose. The director of this season is Yoshihito Nishōjiand the chief directors are Kishi and Hashimoto. Akashiro is replaced by Hayato Kazano as a scriptwriter and Morita works as the character designer. The music is composed by Masaru Yokoyama and Kana Hashiguchi instead of Takahashi. Further, ZAQ performs the opening theme “Dance in the Game,” and Mai Fuchigami will perform the ending theme “Hito Jibai,”. The basic concept of the series is school life which usually covers the genre of psychology and drama.
How Many Volumes of Classroom of The Elite Are Covered by the Series?
Eleven volumes for the 1st year and 6volumes for 2nd year of Classroom of The Elite novel series have been published in Japan. Besides the light novel, 11 volumes of Manga have also been included in the 1st year of Classroom of The Elite.
The first season of the Classroom of The Elite series covered the story of volumes 1 to 3 of the first year of Light Novel. Most probably, Season 2 will be based on Light Novel Volumes 4 to 6 or 7, and thus the next season i.e., season 3 would cover the rest volumes from 8 to 11. If we look in detail, there would need to produce at least 6 seasons of the series to complete the entire range of Light Novel volumes as a season includes only 12-13 episodes which are not enough to cover all the published volumes till the day. We see a season usually covers only 3 volumes of the novel, it’s a high chance we would see more in the future of Classroom of The Elite as some volumes of 1st year have left and the entire second year as well as left to cover.

Kdo Skuse is one of Japan’s peak schools as it guarantees admission to everyone’s dream Grandes Ecoles University. There are four classes based on performance i.e., A (best), B (average), C (average), and D (worst) and to get enrolled here, students have to secure at least 50% marks in their entrance exams. The whole story revolves around a shy and underconfident student of the D-class, named Kiyotaka Ayanokoji. He is the protagonist of the series who is enrolled in the D class which includes mostly criminals as he committed errors on his entrance exam. He also can read the emotions of others around him accurately and the same he can use them for helping and destroying them.
Now, you will see this tale from his viewpoint. Suzune Horikita, Kikyo Kushida, and Sudo are also in his class and play supporting roles. Though, in the mid-term Sudo will be expelled and helped by Kiyotaka and Suzune to pass the class. Suzune plans to increase her class rank meanwhile Kiyotaka invites her and other students to the swimming pool. A luxurious voyage to a tropical island takes off with novices and all the D-lass students are fascinated by the plan. After being positively influenced by his friends and classmates, Kiyotaka also promotes himself to A-class and that is the crux of the story.
